Scripting
I wrote code directly in Maya using the MEL language as a scripting project for my VFX course. I created a graphic user interface that would allow the user to interact with models in the scene. The buttons allow the user to mix and match the heads and bodies of "eeveelutions" from the Pokemon franchise. Procedures includ creating a window with buttons that call the head and body functions, which loop through a string array to turn off the visibility of all objects and turn on the visibility of the selected mesh.

Dynamics
My final project for my VFX course, "Mega Mario," allowed me to showcase my skills with dynamics in Maya. I chose to work with Mario due to my long love of Mario games such as Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario 3D World. I had a lot of fun setting the scene with the 3D mountain models and I love how their shadows look. I used a physics simulation in Maya - specifically, a gravity solver - to create the sequence of flying blocks in my scene. While studying dynamics, I also practiced using MASH, nucleus and bullet solvers, the bifrost fluid dynamics and graph editor, and xgen grass and hair.
